I and my boyfriend had a holiday in Rome for 4 days. We stayed all 3 nights there in B&B Brilli. This B&B is a clean small flat with rooms and small kitchen. Our room also had a private bathroom. You can have a basic beakfast- white bread, sweet bread, butter, jam, coffee, juice, milk and egg- there and I...

B&B Brilli was a wonderful place to see Rome from. If you arrive to Rome via Termini, take the Metro to the B&B, much easier then trying to walk. Great location, walking distance to Coliseum. Metro close by. A/C in Rome was refreshing after a long hot day walking in Rome. Alexandra was wonderful offering us advice on everything from...

Spent 3 nights at B&B Brilli. Excellent location just a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and Ancient Rome. Met station (Manzoni) just around the corner. The room was spacious and comfortable, nice to chill out in after a long days sightseeing! Host was really friendly and helpful, will stay here again!

Although the B & B Brilli is small, it is BIG in our book. Alexandra & Lorenzo were there when we needed them with helpful information about Rome. Francesca provided us with truthful prebooking information. The room was like new and very comfortable. There was a kitchen in the common area that I guess we could of used and we...

I spent four nights here with my husband, and we though it was a really good choice in Rome: clean, quite comfortable, quiet, affordable and with a very pleasant friendly host. Located in a very local and safe area near Coliseum and Roman Forum. Good for families. My husband and me have travel quite a lot, and we have stayed...

Cosy, small B&B. Central, good infrastructur, close to metro/tram. Quiet location, traffic s/t noisy. B&B located in typical neighborhood on 3rd floor of 19th century building. The rooms are clean, simple but pleasantly furnished, recently renovated. Breakfast is simple, but with more variety than common in Italy. Alessandra runs the B&B, lives in the building and is the absolute highlight:...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
