We checked into Castel Sant'Angelo at 00.30 at night and were met by the most genuine host. Stefano took time greeting us, explaining practicalities and making us feel at home, even though we arrived so late. For the next three days, he was all smiles and very helpful with any and all inquiries. And the breakfast was ample and great!...

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome. The room was comfortable and quiet. It was within walking distance to several of Rome's typical tourist attractions. Great location - shopping and places to eat nearby. As noted, it is a little hard to find initially as it is tucked into an older building, but once you find...

This B&B was just wonderful. We stayed for 10 days because we wanted to experience everything Rome has to offer. The Inn did not disappoint. The room was comfortable, clean, and the owner Stephano will go out of his way to make your stay memorable. It is walking distance to all the major sites and there are numerous restaurants within a...

My wife and I stayed for two nights and simply couldn't have been more pleased. The Inn is in a fabulous location; just off a major street but quiet and convenient. We walked to many of the city's major sites and found shops and restaurants nearby to meet all our needs. Stefano, the owner, was wonderful in every way, including...

Castel Sant'Angelo was over all my expectations. The location is just perfect, close enough to visit all the busy attractions but it has the quiet charm of a local neighborhood to come back to relax at the end of the day. There is a lot of typical stores and restaurants near by. So much better than those in the touristic...

Stayed for one night after a conference, to see a bit more of Rome. The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to all the main sights. The 1930s building and the inn are spotless and well maintained and Stefano was a warm and generous host.

Stefano, the owner, was very responsive to emails before my arrival and gave detailed directions on getting to the Inn from the airport. He also had many recommendations for things to do and places to eat. He brings a full breakfast to you every morning at whatever time you request. One day I told him that I didn't need breakfast...

Spent two nights at Castel Sant'Angelo Inn and enjoyed it very much. Before arriving Stefano communicated very well how to get to the Inn and provided helpful transportation information. Upon arriving we were greeted with a wealth of information on the sites and how to get to them. Breakfast each morning was more than enough and variety to satisfy us....

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
