The location of this guest house is perfect as it's in the center of Rome, near Saint Peter's square and close to the metro station Ottaviano. Our room was at the beginning of the corridor so heard some noises at night but overall was quite spacious. The negative thing is that they don't change towels for a two-night stay (unless...

I loved every night. Very clean and the people were very polite. They try to help us even though they do not speak very good English. The water was hot and we did not have any problem. The guest house is near the station. In conclusion if you dont want to spend much money this is the right place to...

Lovely guest house a stone's throw away from Vatican City. We chose to walk to most most other areas, covering pretty much all of central Rome on foot, however there is a metro station just up the street for those who prefer to get across the city that way. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the room had everything...

Perfect location, just 5-7 minutes to Saint Peter's square, neat and clean rooms, complimentary fruit basket when we arrived was waiting for us. We chose one single bed, but it had two single mattresses and of course it was not comfortable. Very thin walls and daily cleaning until 11.00 am, so every day at 9 am you are woken up...

Ottaviano guest house is probably one of the best, if not the best, B and B I've stayed at anywhere in Europe. The entire place is clean, a good sized room....and bathroom, and the location to the metro and Vatican is perfect. I can compare this place to a Hilton Hampton Inn or a Marriott Courtyard. the only issue we...

Clean, comfortable and in good price range. They were very friendly too. It is near subway and other good points for bus transportation. Near Vatican as well which makes it perfect for night walks where one can make lots of night photos of the well lit buildings nearby. They offer breakfast and coffee too. It's perfect if you are with...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
