I absolutely LOVED staying at Il convo B&B! Il Covo changed location to an apartment building next door. The rooms are renewed, the bathroom is fresh and clean and the room was nicely decorated. We had to pick up our key in the hotel 'antica locanda'. The receptionist was really nice and friendly, and helped us with all kinds of...

Although you wouldnt expect at check-in with very friendly staff the stay in the room is bad. We stayed at the top floor (six stairs) in a 'dark' room. When litting the light you must put on sunburn-oil and sunglasses of the 10.000 lumen light. Lying on the bed was even worse. OMG. what a nightmare. The worse bed we...

This might be a little long, but I really wanted to share my nightmare in Il Covo B&B, please read before booking. As usual I have provided my credit card details for pre-authorization, the first surprise was that the hotel used the details I provided to withdraw the full amount few days before my arrival, contrary to the terms&conditions on...

If you're travelling to Rome for the weekend, this hotel is great. Quiet ,convenient and clean. Monti is a fabulous area to stay in as you are close to everything and all major sites are easily accessible. Check-in went perfectly, all staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Some things worth noting so there are no surprises: - My friend and...

I have been to this B&B twice 9 years ago, loved the location very much because it is close to the Colosseum. I hated its breakfast because you could only get a few slices of bread, butter and jam. But we kept the choice due to laziness (didn't want to search again )and the price was also cheap. I booked...

So starting with the best things; the location is very very good! In the heart of Monti district, just 7-8 walking minutes from the Colosseo and San. Pietro Basilisc and surrounded by many small designer shops and cafes. Sounds amazing and it is really amazing. Coming to the not so good things; and I used not so good on purpose!...

We arrived for the final night of our honeymoon. As you will have read already no doubt the 'hotel' as a reception in another building, that doesn't matter. On arrival after finding the hotel difficult to locate (not the hotels fault) we were greeted by a very nice young lady who explained that our room wasn't ready and come back...

Great Location! nice, friendly and helpful reception, very good value for money. the best location in Rome, amazing street. The room is spacious, cozy and with an air conditioning. The hot water in shower is not enough and run out very quickly. There is wifi only in the reception. We will definitely come back and recommend this B&B to all...

It's located in a quiet street in the district of Rione Monti. You can easily get there by Metro (stop at Cavour) or by bus (No64 in Via Nazionale). Reception is at Hotel Antica Locanda which is just a few metres up. Rooms are quite small but nicely decorated. Our shower was powerful. We had to change the room because...
