My mother and I spent 4 nights at Residenza Canali in June. I was a little nervous, having read a few complaints about the service (particularly with regard to female guests), but we were extremely pleased with our experience. If you want a large, elegant hotel with lots of fuss and glamour, the Canali isn't for you. But if you...

We are trip advisor members from Pennsylvania in the USA. My wife, daughter and I had a junior suite. The Canali is centrally located with easy access to the main tourist sites. Clean, quiet and spacious rooms with a nice breakfast. The staff was very, very friendly and extremely helpful with directions and recommendations. This made some of our travels...

Myself, my husband and three teenage children have just returned from a 4 night break in Rome, staying at this wonderful hotel. The airport pick up, which was arranged via email direct with the hotel, was an efficient way to get into the city and delivered us right to the reception area of the hotel by the driver who helped...

We were in Room 2 on the top floor. I specifically requested a room with a terrace and the only drawback to this room is that the A/C could not keep up with the extreme heat. I learned that the owner is planning on upgrading the A/C but until then be prepared to be very warm if you go in...

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely little hotel/residence. We had two rooms side/side as we were a family of four. A twin and a double. The rooms were very nicely appointed. Bathrooms great although our shower a little small and not suitable for a larger person. Just make the request on booking. A/C was hotel wide so no adjustment...

We stayed at the residenza Canali Mid July 2007. It is a very small quaint hotel with just a front reception and rooms upstairs. It seems small but the rooms are spacious. It is in the best location because it is close to everything. All things that you need to see are within walking distance. Palazzo Narvona is just at...

We have just returned from Rome after staying at Residenza Canali for one week and can truthfully say it was wonderful. Hotel is in a great location, within 10 minutes walk in either direction for all the major sites. We had a top floor room with a terrace, which could have been a problem as there are no lifts but...

We travelled to Italy in early June of 2007 for our honeymoon and started our tip here. It was my first trip to Europe, but based on my extensive reading on what to expect, this hotel seems better than average. As most people state, this hotel has a great location. We walked to the ancient ruins (Colisseum, Forum, etc.) and...

We really enjoyed our stay at Residenza Canali. It has an "old world" feel and is spectacularly located. Some hotels of this type feel run down and shabby, but RC is not. Our beds were comfy, the bathroom was adequate for 4 persons, there was both a fridge and safe in the room, and the much-needed A/C worked well. Their...

Stayed at this Hotel in Mid June. Rooms were clean, and comfortable. We had a terrace room and felt it was nice to sit outside at night and take in the Roman night. One observation that we made however was that during times of hot weather (really hot while we were there), the AC does not keep up with the...
