The room was small and very stuffy. The wifi was constantly going in and out. When we asked the front desk for help they acted annoyed and disinterested. They treated our stay as a burden. Also our air conditioner was shut off one night and we had to call the front desk to turn it back on as the room...

The Domus is immensely convenient for the sights of Rome yet sufficiently secluded to be peaceful at night (worth serious money in Italy!!). Rooms are simple but comfortable - this is not trying to be an intercontinental luxury hotel. Breakfast was fine but I was not there for any other meals. The roof terrace is a treat and, at €13,...

First stay at this hotel in June 2015. Cons - 2 single beds that were youth size beds. Room small, stark and stuffy. Small shower stall that was impractical as it had a fixed small head that produced little water flow and the stall was so small I could not move around in it. Aircondition circulated hot air. No aircondition...

A wonderful oasis in the crazy noise and crush or Tome's tourists. It was central to the St. Peter's area and we loved the ambience, the beds were good, the AC worked, the food at Breakfast great and 24 hour concierge including food/drink. It was a great experience.

We have stayed at this hotel many times in past years always returning as it like being in an oasis in the centre of Rome. The location is terrific - you can walk to Vatican, -staff extremely helpful, rooms very clean, shaded car parking, excellent security, closeness to the Prati shopping district, breakfast selection is excellent and the roof garden...

This 'Hidden Gem' was recommended to us by family members who had stayed here on separate occasions over the past few years and it certainly lived up to all expectations! It is in a great location, beside Castel d'Angelo and just under ten minutes walk from The Vatican. The staff were extremely courteous, rooms comfortable and clean and a good...

This is a very good hotel for the price. Walking distance to the Vatican, the hotel is clean and secure. They serve a very fine breakfast and the staff is friendly. I don't recommend that you eat lunch or dinner here, but why would you with so many great restaurants in Rome? If you want to try something a little...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The continental breakfast was the best I have ever seen in Europe. There were many options including pastries, granola, cereals, yogurt, pumpkin seeds, apples, bananas, oranges, kiwis, other healthy options, toasting station, egg boiling station, and more. There was even a station to make your own tart with different fruit flavors....

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
