We stayed at the Marcus Loft in Rome for 3 nights in August, the location was good and we felt very safe in the area. Within walking distance of many key areas, nice coffee shops, a small grocery store and gellato. The loft is in need of some TLC, Trash containers for the street are right outside of the windows...

Ok this review is not about the hotel but the apartments. We were put in Marco Aurelie suites which is located about five minutes from the hotel. As we were three, the apartments being the comfortable choice because we absolutely did not want a roll-away taking most of the space in an hotel room. The Marco Aurelie suites are located...

I took my two teenage sons to Italy for a combination work/vacation. We spent the first nights in Rome and I opted to book one of the private apartments in town instead of staying at the main building. Was a great choice! The apartment was roomy, clean and cozy. We felt like part of the community for the 4 days...

My husband and two sons recently stayed in the Serpenti Penthouse apartment and could not have been happier. In preparation for the trip we had read many reviews and some quite negative about the apartments offered through Palazzo Manfredi. I would have to disagree with many of those negatives. I guess it comes down to what type of experience you...

We were extremely happy with Palazzo Manfredi. The staff were very attentive and helpful at all times and as first timers to Rome the location was perfect with the colosseum and Forum on our doorstep. We stayed in the Marco Aurilio Appartment suits a block behind the hotel which although didn't come with room service and was a 5 min...

After a long 14 hour flight from Seattle we arrive in Rome at 11:30am. We take a cab to our hotel, which is an amazing location and great view of the Colosseum. When we check in we are told our 'apartments' our not ready and to come back in an hour. We come back at 1:30pm and the couple we...

The Palazzo Manfredi is a beautiful hotel with a spectacular view of the Colosseum. Beautiful rooms etc. But!! We booked the Penthouse apartment, since we were a family of five. We were brought to our apartment which is not in the same building or even next door. Don't want to sound like I'm stuck up, but after leaving the hotel I...

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Gladiatori at the beginning of July. Instead of recommending or not recommending I will list the pros and cons and you can decide for yourself... PROS: 1) Great location - steps away from the Coliseum and also good location for walking to other places of interest in Rome. 2) Nice rooftop terrace...

This boutique hotel is right next to the Coliseum and walking distance to the other historical must-see sights in Rome. Terrific front desk staff and the restaurant on the roof is great for a romantic gourmet meal and they do breakfast too with real American coffee (you will have a hard time finding good American coffee anywhere in Italy). The Hotel Gladiatori had such great reviews and was in a perfect location for sightseeing that I couldn't resist booking my first night in Rome there.
