Good things, first impression, great friendly staff, all good at check in, room average, on the small side. Went straight out to travel, walked to Basilika San Paolo metro stop, around 10 minutes, bought a 48 hour metro/bus/tram pass for 8 euros, around 7 stops to Termini then walking and taxi to Termini. Back at hotel next morning major problem,...

The staff were very good to us when we needed anything, we found the city centre easy enough to get in and out of. For young travellers there is a nice bar in a hut at the green beside the metro that was nice to have a few drinks in before calling it a night. We pre-booked airport bus transfers...

My wife and I travelled to Rome recently for a 4 day city break and this was the hotel we were allocated. It is slightly out of the way but both bus and metro stations are nearby. We bought a 3 day metro pass which we found very useful for getting about. The Colosseum, Vatican and other tourist attractions are...

I booked this trip though wowcher and to a certain extent you do get what you pay for. The area the hotel is in is in the student quarter near a university - this in itself was fine however it was filthy, used condoms littered the surrounding streets, not a great start. The room was adequate, cleaned daily, but in...

Hotel is as many reviews state "out of town" so for sight-seeing a metro pass for 24 hours for 7 euros gets you wherever you need to go. The closest metro is basilica de sau paulo. It is around 30 euros from airport and town centre. Rooms are cleaned every day and reception staff are probably the most friendly people...

Excellent value for money. Although a slight distance from Rome central the metro was easy to use and 5 mins away ( worth buying 12, 24,72 hour passes). Room clean and tidy, breakfast was good and plenty of variety. We did have a couple of issues but this was dealt with promptly. Staff very polite and very helpful.

The hotel is situated abit far from the city centre but the metro and bus makes it quite easy to get around. I must admit that the hotel definitely did look sketchy from the outside, given it's location and graffiti etc, but it proved the contrary. We had a lovely stay. Our room was average in size, cleaned daily and...

Friendly staff, very very clean and a fab breakfast which was not included in the price but great value for money. take the 170 bus to the centre. or walk to the tube 6 stops to Termini. We used a 48 hour Roma Pass for travelling on busses and the underground and got free entry into the Colleseum and the...

....with all the recent reviews. Friendly bar, reception and management staff - good access by bus or metro to central Rome, good breakfasts and free Wi-Fi - BUT very small rooms and no English TV channel. The website is wildly optimistic. Do NOT pay their €50 "airport transfer" fee - book your own taxi -fare is only €35
