This was the cutes little inn! We came to Rome for our honeymoon and neither of us having been before didnt know what to expect, however we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation and the city itself. The room was big enough for the two of us with two suitcases, super clean and very stylishly decorated. The staff were amazing,...

Situated in great location, near to the center of Rome.. Room is clean, nice and cosy.. Walking distance to almost everywhere.. Breakfast was not too bad, with great variety of bread with the nespresso coffee maker.. We enjoyed our stay very much !!

We loved Imperial Inn! Cristina was so kind and helpful and the room was large and the way that it was furnished was totally unique. The breakfast was a real treat. Last time we stayed in Rome it was in a large chain hotel - this was 1000 times better. Back soon!

Ideally located near Termini (5 to 10 minute walk). There's a metro station nearby (Republica). Room (with Zebra decorations) was comfortable and cute, with window on the back of the building, which was very quiet. To get an idea of what the rooms look like, check their website, pictures on Google Maps are not accurate, rooms have been renovated. Walls...

My husband and I just returned from Italy and stayed here during our visit to Rome. It was perfect! It's in a very nice neighborhood with some great restaurants close by. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We also slept great during our stay here, it's quiet. Our hostess was wonderful. My husband was pick pocketed on the Metro...

Unfortunately, photos of the hotel in their website has nothing to do with reality! This is not a hotel but the rooms at floor residential building. Kept quadruple room, which proved to be extremely small and uncomfortable for four people. The bathroom is also extremely small and uncomfortable. Every morning when breakfast delivered to guests ringing the bell in the...

There is no reception desk. You almost have to make an appointment to check in, something that is difficult to do when trying to avoid high roaming charges on your mobile phone. If you check in after 8pm, there is a surcharge for someone to basically wait for you to get there and give you the keys. You are given...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
