Extremely disappointed by this hotel as it wasn't up to the usual Radisson standards. The floor in the separate toilet wasn't very clean. The hotel was in a rough area of Rome, however we were aware of this having read the reviews and it's well placed for the metro and train to the airport. The staff were helpful and the...

Lovely, helpful staff, delicious food, close to station. Waiters are quite slow but the art on plate compensates everything. I am quite fussy but it is one of my favourite place. Hope will be back next year <3

We were satisfied about the room size and the very confortabel bed. We like the modern shower in the middle the room, but we managed to work with it. The room was clean. On the first day we had an issue with the toilet flush, which was taken care of by a mechanic within 15 minutes. That's what I call...

Nice place to stay, very near to train station. The standard rooms are small and I found the wooden sloping bed heads weird and in the way. On our 2nd trip we stayed there we were upgraded and this larger room was fantastic. All staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was pretty good.

Service is not up to standard for a 5 stars Hotel... people at the reception not really helping nor nice. The fitness room is very small, and you have to pay 15 euro to use the Sauna or the Jacuzzi (which by the way was so hot yiu cannot stay)... No real coffee machine in the room. In summary, select...

This was our choice of accommodation for 6 days and nights which encompassed Hogmanay and the new year. A fantastic 4 star hotel maintained to extremely high standards and served by knowledgeable, polite staff. The only negatives were the having 2 beds pushed together to create an queen sized bed space which proved to be most uncomfortable the hotel is...

The hotel is near the train station, which is a perfect spot. The pool at the roof makes it a great place to stay. Design hotel, so very "clean" in a good way. Good breakfast and nice to lunch or dine at the roof. Love it!

The Radisson Blu Rome is exactly what you would expect of a Raddison Blu. The service from staff was impeccable and friendly. The first two days of our trip there was a large conference and service was still great. We stayed in a standard room, which was a good size for a city hotel. Admittedly I was a little sceptical...

Dear ShakShaqeel, thank you for your feedback. Reading your review, It is very clear that you reserved the stay without informing about the style, the location and the amenities which are offered in our hotel. What you define as IKEA are actually design furnitures, and the "stupid bag" as well. We are sorry that you have no idea of this....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
