The Radisson is a brand that you expect a lot from due to its local and international legacy. By this implication you trust that when you book you will get value for money, including an incredible experience. This hotel is actually not in line with the brand and at most a 3.5 star hotel. Very very disappointed. List of disappointments:...

Lovely, helpful staff, delicious food, close to station. Waiters are quite slow but the art on plate compensates everything. I am quite fussy but it is one of my favourite place. Hope will be back next year <3

Terrible noise from the railway station. No noise insulated. No maintenance (old curtain on the shower so water around, bad shower, water do not go down the sink etc). Noise also inside with people shouting on the night. Ridiculously costly breakfast (this is the only 5 star characteristic) for mid quality food. Wait incredible a lot to have reception answering...

For around 100 euros per room you can not get a better hotel in Rome. City tax (7 eur per person per day) and parking are overpriced. The breakfast was not included in the price. I recommend city transport for city tours

On arrival I was somewhat shocked that we started driving towards more and more graffiti laden streets and then we arrived at our hotel which appeared at a dead end. So, I was less than impressed. We checked in quickly and went out for the day, so got back late. The room was modern, looked clean and first impressions were...

The good: The hotel is just across from the main train station and about a 3 minute walk to where the tour buses are parked. The hotel is reasonably priced, wifi is good, has wheelchair and stroller access and a pretty decent breakfast is served. It also has other amenities like a workout room, but I can't comment on them...

We booked this hotel for its location and unique style, and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly reception staff and this was the pattern throughout our entire stay. All staff were so welcoming and hospitable, any request you may have they ensure to do their upmost to make your stay as comfortable as possible....

It was not as good as other Radisons. The location was near central station but in very bad place ( same as downtown). The breakfast was the same as a 4 star and with very bad services. The staff didn't care about the dishes. I won't stay in this hotel in future and do not recommend at all.

Main reasons for booking this hotel were - Location near the main train station - 5 star hotel with swimming pool for relaxing I am afraid this is not a 5 star hotel, in my opinion it’s at best a 4 start. The rooms let it down, by not having enough light (so for people looking to read, do bring...

Being one of the world's finest hotel's, I had great expectations from Raddison but they failed to keep up to my expectations miserably. We drove from Venice to Rome which took us about 6 hours and since we are tourists we obviously got lost on the way and had to take a few detours. Anyways we had already pre-paid in...

Dear Guest, we are sorry for your opinion and for not being satisfied with your stay. But unfortunately the connecting rooms are upon availability and this information is well shown when you make a special request. On your dates the hotel was fully booked and there were no chance to give your connected rooms. Breakfast counts 45 different items for...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
