This is a small-outdated hotel that should not be listed on travel websites. No one wants to stay here. The room is incredibly small, when you take a shower you have to climb over the toilet and shut yourself in a coffin like stall. It cost 8€ extra a day for the remote to the air conditioning unit, the windows...

Hotel is situated 10 minutes walking to Termini train station which is very convenient. However it is very old, and needs some renovation. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. The Bathroom was very small, no space to move, and also not clean. Need to maintain cleanliness more. However I just stayed one night, so it was a...

Having already spent 3 nights in Rome I had decided to extend my stay but there was no availability left at my previous hotel. I booked very last minute a 1 night stay at Domus Mea since it was cheap and not too far away. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the city not too far from the...

The hotel was in a great location next to Termini station (to travel outside of the city or for the metro). The staff were friendly even though little English. They ensured that we had our morning cappuccino and pastries even if we were running late for the breakfast. I was concerned before going about access to the hotel, as several...

This budget hotel is conveniently located close to Rome's Termini train station and on walking distance of the old city. Small, but clean. Don't expect too much luxury, but if you're looking for a reasonable priced stay in the centre, where most of the time you just use for sleeping after a day of exploring the city, this is perfect!...

I stayed 4 nights in this small hotel. My room was clean and quite. The staff cleaned up my room everyday. The hotel location is very good. You can reach Termini in 5 munites by walk. The hotel has free wifi. The breakfast is ok but their coffee was great.

The so-called hotel is on the 5th floor of an office/residential building. Borderline to below par. They gave the audacity to levy a € 8.00 surcharge per night for the use of the air-condition. Try and avoid the place - especially in the summer months.

We booked this hotel thru Hotels.com. It looked fine, but upon arrival, what a disaster! We asked for 2 beds, but they ignored that request and the beds were together. We had to share a filthy bathroom with other tenants, that did not always have hot water or any water at all! The floor in our room was dirty and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
