I chose this Hotel cause is very near the "Policlinico Gemelli" (few minute by walk), but the rooms appear old and unkempt (i was in a single room for 4 night); good breakfast rich for italian and strangers

This hotel deserves zero stars!!!! STAY AWAY! Not only did this hotels policy request I left my passport and room key with the hotel any time I leave my room but Francesca was the least accommodating hotel manager I've ever encountered. I would not leave my room key and passport with whomever will be working the front desk considering someone has to be there at all times, 24 hours a day so she was very rude. We tried exposing we are 2 women alone in another country where we don't speak the language. We felt unsafe doing so. I will stop here and post my photos of what this place really looks like. These words are strong but the pictures say it all.

Ok so yes it is in the berbs of Rome. But if you have half a brain and can catch a train you are only minute from all the attractions. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children and we had no problems getting around. The rooms were clean and just what we needed for our 5 night stay. The only thing I missed was tea & coffee in the room (this is a very British thing) however we all adapted to the local customs after all we were on holiday. Breakfast was superb and the staff were all very welcoming. If we return to Rome we will aim to return to Hotel Sisto V. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lying in the Roman suburb of Gemelli, the Hotel Sisto V is out of town and a 10 minute train from San Pietro and the Vatican, which does however reflect the price, much lower and better than in the city centre and nearer to the sights. The hotel is in a side street from a busy main road and with the typical mad Roman traffic and cars whipping up and down the road where the hotel is situated, take care when coming and going. Inside, the hotel is a typical city hotel, very polite, helpful and courteous staff and therefore if on a budget and you don't mind being away from the tourist areas, this is ideal. A few eateries nearby, but no comparison with the location of the city centre properties.

So far from the center. The beds are for single and they merge them to king size. The bath room are so small. The serves very good and personly. Clean, and smilling very good. For turest is not a good place becuse its so far from the center. Taxi from the center to the hotle it counts 20£ .

Dear client, our hotel is located near the Gemelli hospital and you can reach the center in 30 minutes with a small train that with only two stops reaches the underground. We are happy that ourstaff is always polite. We have different room types with different prices. Best regard.
