The hotel is situated about 30 minutes outside of central Rome but don't let that put you off. The buses run very regularly and go to the main bus terminal, number 90 or number 60 to one of the main Piazza areas where you can walk to the Colloseum and many other attractions. The hotel is in a small typical...

No clear directions and a severe lack of signage to find the place!! On arrival we had booked a twin room to be offered a cupboard on the ground floor! Didn't realise I was travelling with Harry Potter! Eventually moved to the second floor, no tea/coffee facilities in room, shower head didn't stay on the wall and a glass screen...

Stayed at the Sunrise Hotel in March for 2 nights. From Rome airport, we got a train to Termini station then bus number 90 to Bus Stop called Corso Sempione. Then it’s a 5-10 minute walk from there. NOTE to remember, you have to validate your train tickets (don’t worry about bus tickets) on machines on the platform BEFORE you...

My partner and I recently spent 4 nights in Rome, staying at the Sunrise Hotel. It was a very authentic feeling building with Italy tangibly hanging in the air. The room was satisfyingly tall-ceilinged and sufficiently ornate to always guarantee that even with the curtains drawn, you could never forget that you're in Rome. The days past quickly with a...

This not a 4 Star hotel but then neither is the price. I cannot understand how people expect a 5 Star hotel when they pay a budget price. The staff and service are very good, The facilities are adequate, our room was spotless, the sheets were changed daily. My rating of 5 Stars is based on value for money which...

We arrived at the airport with a pre ordered hire car with full comprehensive insurance with Ryanair the hire company was Goldcar. I would not recommend using this company again as they bully you into paying more insurance and then try to get extra money from you on your return for damage that's previously done. BEWARE This caused us lots...

Even if the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel doesn't look like a 4 star at all! The mattress from the bed was really hard and my partner suffered back pain on the second day! We found popcorn on the floor in our room and broken tiles with a not so clean bathroom... The place is covered with old...
