Very central to all the main attractions in Rome. Very clean and tidy, friendly staff. Very good Continental breakfast. Local restaurants and super market. 5 minute walk to the Spanish steps, 10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain, 25 minute walk to the Colosseum and 35 minute walk to the Vatican. Would definitely stay here again.

2 min from the Spanish steps, and 5 min from the Trevi location, so great location. Staff are friendly, free wifi, and clean room, but the rest is what you get for a 2-star hotel. No air con so the room was hot, but they equip you with a fan. The building next door is under construction so I hear...

We stayed for three nights and cannot believe some of the negative reviews we have read on here. Our experience was completely different. The room was a great size with a large comfy bed. The bathroom was brand new and all exceptionally clean. It's true that it was a bit basic but so what? It had a little balcony and...

Stayed for 5 nights. Friendly staff who make your stay memorable and tend to all your requests. Aymen who is the night receptionist always there to help and advise when asked. Excellent location from where you can reach the important sites within minutes. Vatican only half an hour or so away. Breakfast included in price. A little noisy at night...

The hotel position is very good, 1 minute from piazza di spagna by walk and really close to the most famous roman attractions. The room is tiny, really nice and authentic but there are some defects. I didn't like the bathroom, in the shower there is not a shower glass and when you get a shower the water goes everywhere. In...

ok so reading some of these reviews I think there a little harsh yes the hotel doesn't look great from outside but unless your staying in a 4* plus hotel all the little hotels look like this one. Me and my boyfriend originally booked hotel zara but they were having some plumbing problems so we were booked out to erdarelli,...

The location is great and the owner/staff knows it so they charge whatever they like depending on their mood. The hotel looks very old and dirty outside. Is like an abandoned building. My experience? Well, my partner book a single room, I changed my mine and went to Rome to meet her. Asked the receptionist to pay for a double...

I visited Rome with my wife and another couple in April. We stayed in Erdarelli hotel for 3 nights. The value for money according to my opinion was just terrible. The owners I guess take advantage of the ideal (I have to admit) location, and charge much more than I would ever give for a hotel like this. First of...

The hotel is clean, functional and staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. The location is good, minutes walk from barbarini metro, the hard rock cafe and the trevi fountain. The bathroom in my room was clearly new (though the flush was hit and miss). On the downside none of the rooms have aircon, there is only WiFi in one...

Booked here for 4 nights last week to finish our two week holiday in Italy. This was by far the warmest, most uncomfortable room i have ever stayed in. Upon arrival the elevator was broken so we were told to leave our bags downstairs and someone would bring them up. This meant we had to get the elevator to the...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
