This is a wonderful guest house near Colosseum. We walked past colosseum every day whilst staying in this guest house. The owner was very kind and funny. He gave us a map and told us how to get to the main tourist attraction from the guest house. We had a double room ensuite and it was a fair size. The...

My husband & I stayed at the Arena House for 3 nights in September. We took the shuttle they arranged for us for 40eu from the airport. We loved the Arena house. Vincent & Barbara and the rest of the staff (not related) was wonderful and helpful with every question we asked. Told us what buses to get on etc......

We spent 3 nights at the Arena House in early October at the end of a two week trip to Italy. It was a great place to stay because of it's location, nice rooms and wonderful staff. You are within easy walking of so many sights and there is a bus stop at the end of the street with a...

We stayed one night only at the Arena House because we had already booked an apartment and then had our flight moved up. The location was very convienent close to the Colleseum . The staff (I forgot their names) were wonderful. We came dragging our luggage, dripping with sweat on a very humid Roman day. They immediately clucked over us,...

We stayed at the Arena House for 4 nights at the end of September 2007. It is a great, inexpensive place to stay near a lot of major tourist sites in Rome. Do not stay here if you are looking for Hilton like accomodations. The Colosseum, Forum, Palantine Hill, as well as other sites are only 2 blocks away. The...

We stayed at Arena Guest house for 4 nights. The B&B is small with no common areas, and the room is small too. But it met all our needs. It was kept very clean, Vincent and Barbara were friendly and helpful hosts, and the location was excellent. The B&B is close to the Colosseum with many great places to eat...

This hotel is just wonderful. In June 2006, my now-husband and I, and our respective families, stayed at Arena House for our destination wedding. The wedding was atop a nearby hotel overlooking the coloseum. The Arena House staff is the best part about staying there. Vincent felt like family by the time our group (18 people) left. The hotel is...

I booked this B&B because of all of the rave reviews. I am even more convinced now that reviews should all be qualified with what level of hotel the traveler is accustom to. If the other reviewers are used to sleeping in hostels or tents, than I can imagine that this place is wonderful for those standards. To qualify my...

I loved the Arena House. After we found it (it's on a maze of side roads), the owner walked me thorugh using the a/c (remote control), internet (computer in every room), and gave me a map of Rome. This hotel is blocks away from the Colosseum and the metro. It is a great location! The (double) room was large and...

Compared to other prices we found for hotels in this category, the rate of 90€ in the height of tourist season is a bargain for Rome. The hotel is in an excellent location only a couple of blocks from the Coliseum and it is very quiet. The owners are very helpful and allowed us to print our airport shuttle voucher,...
