We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This is a fantastic guest house in a quieter section of Rome but still close to all the sights and food. The decor is beautiful and the host is very helpful and gracious. Definitely would stay here again.
Guest House Arco di Tolomei is on a wonderfully quiet street with lots of restaurants nearby. It's not close to but not in the center of Rome. We found it well furnished and maintained, with a homey feeling. We liked being in a building with...More
We stayed five nights at Residenza Arco dei Tolomei this past September. Our room was charming and we loved the small patio, accessed through the window via a small staircase. Such fun to bring beer and wine out there and listen to the sounds and...More
Quiet escape from the hustle of Roma. Rooms are good....great hot showers. Host provided excellent recommendations for dining and helped us get to and from airport and train stations. Trastevere is super location for home base.

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.

I agree with the previous Answer: There is room to store a reasonable amount of luggage. It's a fairly large home and the room we stayed in held our luggage (but, we only had a total of 4 pieces because we were travelling by train). Also, if you have several pieces, I suspect there is room elsewhere to put them, and the owners were very accommodating to us, so I believe they would store the extra pieces.
