We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The place is spotless, with comfortable beds and interior. Breakfast was amazing and our hosts were there around the clock to answer all questions and provide guidance and tips for the most enjoyable time in Rome. We love them!

I couldn't visit Rome and not stay at Hotel Golden! If it's not broken why fix it right? I enjoyed myself so much knowing for sure my stay would be nothing short of just wonderful. The Loria family as always, so so kind and nice to me. My room as expected with everything I need for a restful and pleasant...

Comfortable, clean, quiet, friendly, tasty breakfast, fairly convenient to the Metro, what more could you want? Giuseppe and his family made a big difference in our appreciation of Rome these four days we spent here.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice sized with with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. I would have liked a little more flat space in the bathroom The included breakfast had everything I want in a breakfast----homemade frittatas, homemade pastries, fresh bread, fruit, juices, bacon and great coffee. It is quiet at night (we weren't...

The location is not bad - we took public transport or walked everywhere including from the train station and didn't have too far to drag our bags. There is a lift in the hotel. The best thing about the hotel is the attention from staff (who are all siblings that own and run the hotel). We were given a map...

Giuseppe and his family were amazing. From the fresh home cooked meals from their mom to the booking of dinner reservations at local restaurants, we could not ask for anything more. We would stay there again. Giuseppe even got in the car with us to find parking.

Booked a family room for ourselves and our two children (8 and 10). We had a great welcome to the hotel and they were particularly helpful with what to see and do around the hotel. The best suggestion was to hire the electric bikes from nearby Parc Borghese, great fun for the family. The room wasn't huge but you expect...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
