I have traveled all over the world on business and pleasure and this was probably one of the best experiences I have had. This is a family owned and run hotel and from the very start to the end of our stay we genuinely felt like family. We were warmly greeted each time we came or went, and the entire...

A wonderful family runs this hotel,a beautful location right at the Borghese Gardens. Talk about feeling like family! Mama, a beautiful lady makes an excellent and uniquely large breakfast (for Italy) every morning, so appreciative and happy to see all the guests. The young daughter who helps her is such a sweet girl and so helpful. Marco and Guiseppe run...

The amount of texts for review comments allowed here in Trip Advisor would not be enough to describe the best impressions, warm feelings, and memorable experiences my wife and I had to describe our stay here at Hotel Golden Rome. We can go on and on, and you readers may become overwhelmed or bored with our positive comments, and we...

A wonderful family place that felt like home. Clean, quiet, close to everything and a great value to top it all off. If you are looking for a typical American big city hotel this is not your place, but if you want personal service from a brother sister or mom and dad this is the place for you. Great breakfast,...

The Famiglia Loria are a shining example of the word "family," and they extend their warmth to all who stay at the Hotel Golden. They are clearly genuine and caring, and wish all their guests to be happy and to enjoy themselves. If you want an affordable place to stay in a safe and lovely area, this is it! This...

We booked this hotel following a recommendation from a family member who stayed before and we were not disappointed. Not only was it the cheapest hotel we found, the location was perfect (in walking distance to everything) the room itself had everything, was comfortable and exceptionally clean. Unlike most hotels I've been to it was clearly well cared for and...

Very clean and enjoyable rooms. The breakfast was a full buffet with delicious choices. The family run business is helpful and offers gracious attention at every request. Perfect. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Hotel Golden is a must when staying in Rome.

Rome, noisy, busy, beautiful and amidst the ruins the exceptionally family run Hotel Golden. Well located near the Spanish steps and borgese gardens. What a pleasure to stay here. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. The breakfast was ample and tasty with many home cooked items by Mama. Staying at this hotel was akin to spending time in your own...

We found Hotel Golden through Tripadvisor and based on the feed back from others we decided to book 5 nights for our stay in Rome. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
