If you want to be away from the hustle (& pollution) of the city look no further. The only reason I've not given a 5 is some would find it too far out. It is only a few mins by taxi & a pleasant walk...More
Spent three nights in the most delightful house with Alessandro the owner. It is perfect for just walking into town or staying local. Plenty of excellent restaurants and wine bars. Nothing was too much trouble to please. Will certainly return.
I loved this bed and breakfast. I found the rooms to be spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is updated with lots of features such as a bidet, towel warmers, rainfall shower and plenty of room to move around. I liked the decor quite a...More

Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and
riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.

Yes it is probably one of the safer areas. It is an embassy district and pretty high end real estate area. It is a neighborhood setting. It is about a 10 minute walk to the restaurant area. Well lit. If you are comfortable walking around main streets of major cities at night, it is at that level of comfort or better.
