I stayed in this hotel because according to the net it's one of the cheapest, Given the reviews I was expecting a dirty 3rd world country style hellhole like the ones i stayed in in Peru, but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be fairly clean... Must say though, whoever photographed the room must have been the greatest...

I was surprise was no a.c. in the room, the shower you can not turn around is so tight. The hotel is good for students, overnight sleep. But on the other hand who stays in the hotel is just for sleep, we are there to visit: city, museums, walking, shopping etc. I've been at the same hotel for the last...

Well most hotels have nice features about them, however this one didn't. Its queen size bed was 2 single bed put together. Its TV was a 12 inch. Its bathroom smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in 2 months. They don’t believe in heat, but they did give me one extra blanket. No carpet in the entire room. Breakfast was...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
