Came to Rome sporadically. The trip was unplanned, however we had a vague idea we wanted to stay here, due to a blog I had read. As an airline employee, we don't always get on the flights we want to, so we did not book in advance in case that happened, and just showed up at their door step. They...

This is a nice and cozy family-run B&B. They offer welcome fruit for guests. I'm especially impressed with their staff, who are friendly and helpful to give out the information about Rome. The breakfast is of great value, with a wide selection of salad, Italian ham, toast, fruit. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Close to Roma termini, a nice B&B. I was there for 3 nights, enjoyed. The breakfast was good, but it would be better if you can be there earlier for more choices. I saw the difference between 7.30 and 9.00. haha. Nevertheless they serve you Nespresso coffee during breakfast. The staffs are nice, and they can speak English.

My wife and I stayed 3 three nights and were totally satisfied. Upon arrival we were greeted by miky and uri and were shown to our room where everything was thoroughly explained to us. There were renovations next door and it was a bit annoying and we told mikys mother. The next day they duly gave us another room, and...

Booked a one night stay through Hotels.com. The booking was guaranteed and payment was due on check in, however on the morning of the booking, it was cancelled with the excuse that they couldn't verify payment even though they wanted me to pay on arrival. Checked the website to see the price of the room I'd booked was now £400,...

Hi this is Miky from the Public Manager Department, we would like to inform you that your credit card resulted invalid and we could not grantee your booking on a high demand day. The price of 400 euro is a set up price of closing. We wish you had good times in Rome anyways.

The best thing about the hotel is its location - it's quite close to Rome Termini station. However, this also works against it as the area can get quite noisy with all the hotels and restaurants next door. The rooms are decent but I found them quite cluttered. There's just too much stuff on the table and in the bathrooms,...

Hi Kapoour, this is Miky, thank you for your review. Reading you review there are a few points that are contradictory. We offer our guests many different things free of charge as welcoming presents, every room has different style and very personal touch, we are trying to give our clients the idea to be in a familiar type of accommodation....

Nice little hotel near central station. The area is not great, a bit shabby, but well located if you need access to the train station. Friendly staff, clean and cosy. I git a good price (70€) due to a last minute booking offer.

What a fantastically well run bed and breakfast, bravo! Good room, excellent shower room, all facilities and so spotlessly clean. The breakfast had a huge selection of pastries, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, toast & jams, plus amazing coffee. Also loved that it was a family run establishment, very friendly and welcoming. I would certainly recommend to friends and return...

This is a gem of place. Location is excellent, a 10minute walk from the central Termini train station. Access to bus, trolley and Metro right at hand. Walking distance to one of my favourite restaurants, La Carbonara (see my review). My room was spacious, bright, and super clean. A small fridge, some fruit and some bottled water were also provided....

I recently stayed with my family and booked two rooms which included breakfast. The B&B is located in two buildings that I think house other B&Bs and I think some people may live there. The rooms are located in apartments. One of the rooms had a shared kitchen area within the apartment but the other had no shared area. You...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
