My wife and I recently vacationed in Rome for 5 days and loved our stay at the Gli Artisti Bed & Breakfast. Mario met us upon arrival and was helpful in providing details about the local area. The area is safe and quiet. A short walk to plenty of delicious restaurants, the Vatican, and a Metro Station. The B&B was...

Great location and friendly staff. A short walk to the Metro which can take you to the heart of Rome and close to the Vatican. It was worth the taxi from the airport as there is little signage. Great options for breakfast and very clean. A big room with air conditioning. We felt safe in the area and there were...

The first stop on our Italian holiday was in Rome. We had booked this B&B because of the excellent reviews on this site. We weren't disappointed. Mario met us and ran through Rome highlights on a map. He showed us the breakfast room and then took us to our room which was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good, location was...

Very close to Vatican and just 100m from ottaviano metro station. Room is very clean and cozy, having separate restroom. You can take snacks(ice cream, cheese or beer etc) from refrigerator^^ The manager introduced the local restaurant and it was also very good with reasonable price and wine list. He was very kind to bring us to the restaurant in...

Mario met us at the hotel. He took us up the elevator to the rooms and gave us a refreshment and helped us plan our day. He was wonderful and gave us great advice. The breakfast was simple but fine. The rooms were great. I would stay again. The location was great with the metro Ottaviano stop so close. My...

We stayed here for two nights when we first arrived in Italy. Our flight got in late and they helped us arrange for a car to bring us directly from the airport to the BnB. Mario met us and showed us around. He took the time to go over a map and show us where we were and the best...

we like the location of Gli Artisti's B&B. if we visit Rome again, we will choose the same B&B. It's walking distance to Vatican and bus or Metro stations. A coin laundry shop right at the corner which is very convenient! Gli is very friendly and gave us some useful informations for food and spots to visit!!

Last week my husband and I stayed here and absolutely loved it. The bed and breakfast is located next to the Vatican, in a peaceful neighborhood. Our hosts recommended the restaurant below which was fantastic! They provided us with tickets to the Papal Audience too! They helped us book a tour of the Vatican Museum, which is better than trying...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
