Gli Artisti is an extremely comfortable and homey B&B. It is set in a lovely building that feels very safe and local and whilst on the fourth floor, there is a lift. The host (I didn't get her name) was welcoming and helpful even though her English was minimal. My room was gorgeous (loved the extra detail of stars on...

We stayed for 4 nights, and the staff couldn't have been better. We had an early appointment one morning and didn't have an alarm clock, and the manager purchased one for us -- we asked that morning and found it in our room that evening. The place is very clean, and there was always fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, croissants and...

I and my parents stayed in the Pink Room, and it was spacious enough and beautifully decorated! Also, we loved the big window and the room's lighting fixtures as these make the room bright enough when we need it (I dislike how some hotel rooms tend to look so dark and yellowish because of the lack of proper lighting). They...

It is a clean BB with nice rooms and very good service and it is very close to the Subway and the Vatican. There is also free Wifi and a very good restaurant next door. They have also a taxi service from and to the airport. If we come back we will sure take this BB again.

I love the design of the room and the room is spacious. The BB owner is also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple but we can take drinks and snacks at anytime. The wifi is pretty good too! Location is very close to Vatican museums..

We had a great time in Rome, the B & B is super clean, the rooms were white so that one can see how clean it was. Tess and Marisol were super helpful with all tips. The trip would have been not as lovely it wasn't for this choice.

We stayed in the pink/lilac room for 4 nights, for around 90euro/night, booked direct through the B&B's website. It was very spacious, with plenty of room for the baby bed they supplied for our son. Comfy bed, good aircon and wifi. Bathroom was really nice, with a very large shower (and a bidet!). Breakfast was very nice (continental, but with...

I stayed in This B&B that was recommended by a friend of mine as I was looking for a place in Prati, a nice area, calm at night, and not expensive ( other central areas can be a nightmare at night with noise from bars. I lived in Rome for 8 years, I know it). I found a place like...

We stayed one night, and it was very pleasant. The booking was very easy and personal. They arranged airport taxi, and they arranged to make very early breakfast for us, since we had to leave early. Room and bathroom are nice and clean, and air conditioning worked well. The atmosphere is very nice and pleasant. Overall it can for sure...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
