There is nothing spectacular about this hotel. Clean and affordable. But the location is the best! Right in the middle of all the local attractions and never a far walk from anything. The additional $10 per night for the AC is a must!
Unless you like a room without black out curtains and a lot of loud noises at night then don't stay here. I gave two stars because it was a very close walk to the Vatican. Otherwise I'd give it one star. We were on a...More
This is probably the best value for money you will get staying so close to the Vatican. Sparse, yet clean and friendly - just like I imagine a Pope would live.

I am so sorry I missed the alert for your question! I'm afraid I do not know the answer to this, we got the bus from the airport & that stops 5 min walk from the hotel. Driving in Rome is a nightmare & lots of roads near the Vatican are restricted. You will have to contact the hotel directly & ask their advice.
Sorry again for the delay in replying.
