This is 5star and more- an oasis in the heart of rome with attractions galore within 10-15 minutes walk. An exceptional property: great bedrooms and luxurious common areas which are with quiet thanks to 12 rooms only. Great service and a beautiful garden to relax in. I cannot imagine coming to rome and not staying here - it is truly...

My wife and I spent the last 3 nights of our second honeymoon (25th wedding anniversary) at the Villa Spalletti Trivelli in Rome (June 14 thru 16). From the moment the staff greeted us as the door the service was incredible. It truly is like staying in someone's home. The villa accommodates 14 rooms on multiple levels and is tastefully...

This hotel was recommended to us by my husband's friend. We stayed here for 4 nights and it was great but I expected more given the cost. Having said that, the rooms were spacious and sitting out in the garden was really nice. They stock your minibar daily with flat and sparkling water and alcohol. If you drink then this...

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Villa Spalletti in July ('12). The property is quite amazing inside and out. Our room was quite fabulous with extremely large windows and very spacious room and bathroom. The outdoor space is unbelievable. Just a treat to enjoy, especially in the heat of the summer. Only one small hitch. We had...

We visited this hotel to celebrate a special birthday and a 25th anniversary. It was more like being a guest in a private luxurious home than in a hotel. Everything, right down to the last detail was of the highest quality. The staff could not have been more helpful. The public areas were palatial and the breakfast offered everything. Rome...

We stayed at this lovely former residence for 5 nights following a cruise and I could not say enough good things about the experience. It is in a very residential neighborhood so you are kind of tucked away from the crowds. However it is about a 10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and about 15 minutes from the Colosseum. You...

The breakfast was top quality with fruit/bread/cakes/cheese etc s well as bacon and eggs if you want it. Tip if you want freshly squeezed orange juice, ask for...

Unashamed luxury, this boutique hotel cannot be faulted, from the lovely attentive staff,to the quality of the bed linen. The hotel has masses of character as it was a Roman family home. The breakfast was excellent, any thing you could desire. Approximately ten minutes walk to the Trevi Fountain.A lovely experience.

Spent a night here as part of our return trip home but would love to come back the next time we are in Rome. As many have commented, the experience is like staying in a small country house as the guest of some noble. Everything from the grand common areas to the rooms themselves makes this a very special place....

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful villa for 5 nights in April on our first trip to Rome. This is an amazing property. We were given a magnificent room overlooking the garden.
