Great rooms for a family of 6. Facilities new and clean. Having laundry downstairs was great, however the staff were not really helpful with providing change for us to easily use their machines. Some homeless people living next door did cause disturbance on a few nights and one afternoon were urinating and fighting in view of the windows. Staff didnt...

We (2adults and 1 yr old) recently spent 3 nights at this apartment, it was clean and spacious and the staff were all extremely helpful and obliging. Location was 5min walk to St Peters square and there are plenty of good restaurants, convenience stores at your doorstep that are open late. Shower was amazing, kitchen with microwave very handy, bed...

We(2 adult and 2children) recently stayed in these apartments. Our apartment had two bedrooms plus a lounge where two more people could sleep, 2 bathrooms and a small but functional kitchen / ding room. It is located very close to the Vatican and many other attractions plus the Borgo Pio has a great range of cafe / restaurants. Would definitely...

This was the first time at Trianon Borgo Pio. This was a large apartment. Had everything we needed. The place was quiet and was close to the Vatican, which is where we wanted to be. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and and took care of our airport transfer which was great. Even though there...

We only stayed one night before leaving to come back to the U.S. but we all commented that if we ever came to Rome again, we would definitely stay here! Large apartment. Close to St. Peter's and all Rome has to offer! Elevator was small but stairs were wide. Stay ground level if you have wheelchair needs.

Stayed with married daughter, son and their families- 6 adults, 7 children in two apartments. Children loved downstairs recreation area. Staff were friendly and helpful depending on who was on. Free wifi worked well and great having laundry facilities downstairs. Only drawback was homeless people living in park outside our window- harmless but not very pleasant to see and sometimes...

Had a wonderful stay here while in Rome. It was a great set up, had all the amenities you need and a kitchen. The hotel is very close to the Vatican and has east access to the metro. It was fairly noisy is the mornings with outside construction and the line up to speak to the staff downstairs in the...

Our family of 6 stayed only one night at the Trianon before our cruise to visit the Colosseum and Vatican. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath + kitchen was great. Modern amenities and you couldn't ask for a better location. Close to the Vatican and restaurants, it was a pleasant surprise that for us. For a managed condo/residence, it was well-run....

Great service from front desk staff, nice room spectacular location. Near Vatican, shopping and restaurants all easy walking distance. The place has great character and charm, but the location is it's best feature.

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
