Mary and Carlos are great hosts. This 2 star hotel is in a great location. Near all forms of travel and minutes from the train station. There is a restaurant right next door that is really good. We ate there most nights. The rooms are...More

We stay at Welrome whenever we are in Rome. This is due to the hospitality Mary and Carlo offer together with the fact that the hotel is so well located to the train station,
It is also a great starting point for sightseeing in Rome....More
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Hello Suzanne. When I booked with Mary at Welrome I did everything by email. Just google Welrome to find the website and further details. Mary was quick to answer emails. I can't remember the tarriff but I think it was around 110euro, quite reasonable by Rome standards. I am sure you will enjoy your stay there. Regards Col Brien
