We chose this hotel based on reviews and were not disappointed. Mary and Carlo really are the sweetest people. Every time we left the hotel they made sure we had a map marked with the best gelato spot, a beautiful statue, a great shoe store,...More
My wife and I stayed at the Welrome Hotel earlier this year - for 6 nights (and 1 more when we flew out of Rome). The hotel is less than ten minutes walk from Termini station.

For a moderate price and a good location near the Termini train station, we found the Welrome to be a good choice. It was clean, quiet, and near a good restaurant (Famiglia) and the manager Mary and Carlo were extremely helpful and informative. As an...More
great location, room nice and clean, but the highlight of the hotel are the owners. could not fault them. hospitality excellent and the information provided about rome was great. would not hesitate to recommend this small hotel!!!!!!
This is a nice hotel. We arrived at the Welrome weary and wary (due to all the cautions re big city travel) and were greeted by Rome's best ambassador, Mary. She tirelessly spent time acquainting us with her magnificent city. With our new information we...More
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Hello Suzanne. When I booked with Mary at Welrome I did everything by email. Just google Welrome to find the website and further details. Mary was quick to answer emails. I can't remember the tarriff but I think it was around 110euro, quite reasonable by Rome standards. I am sure you will enjoy your stay there. Regards Col Brien
