The staff was friendly. The rooms looks good. Its near to Termini station. Wifi connection is good. No car voice. But we were in the ground floor and it was sometimes difficult to sleep at night due to the noise.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms seemed newly renovated. Its close to Termini station. As a minus, they had no sign for their hotel,so it took us a long time till we will find it. Because we were in the ground floor and close to the entrance door, it was really difficult to sleep at night due to the noise.

A short walk from the station - but as others have said, it was tricky to find especially in the dark (our flight had been delayed so we were later than anticipated). More than one set of accommodation shares the same reception - the guy who booked us in was ok, a bit gruff and unwelcoming. He showed us to...

The staff where very kind the room was sizeable for what you pay. We had a balcony which was nice, the bed was 2 singles instead of a double and ask for extra pillows as they aren't that great. Our room was also made up 2 of the 3 days so that was really nice. Fantastic location and 24hr reception,...

We needed somewhere close to the station, knowing that we would arrive late in the afternoon then leave early the next morning. The Palma Residence was fine for this purpose. It's not a great neighborhood, being near the station, but we knew that in advance, having visited Rome many times. The breakfast in the bar around the corner was not...

Basic room, clean, good airco, with a little fridge which was nice because it was so hot outside- so we could cool our drinks in the room. Breakfast was in a nearby cafe, with coffee a croissant and juice. Was okay.

To start off this disappointing review, upon arriving at Palma Residence we thought we'd been sentenced to 3 nights in prison. The place had a very unsettling vibe, and the reception staff were unhelpful. The hotel rooms are located in a block of flats, which wasn't made clear by their website. Once we eventually found our room, after searching every...

Hotel is very well located (3 minutes walk from termini station : go out from the VIA MARSALA exit (next to VYTA BOULANGERIE), walk straight (look for Hotel Archimede sign) and at the end of the road, go left: Palma Residence is a big building with green windows. However, our stay at the hotel was awful: - not clean :...

They say intercontinental breakfast. First off all. You need to go to cafe 2 block's away from the hotel. Second point you only get one croissant And one glass off thee or coffee per person thats it. Shower wass broken and there wass no warm/hot water. You needed to wait for 10 minutes before you get a little bit warm...

5 minutes walk from Termini, 20 minutes walk from Trevi fontane, Spanish steps...30 minutes walk from Coloseum... very quiet neighborhood. Rooms are newly renovated with modern decor and A/C. Bathroom was great, spacious with a large shower and plenty of space for changing and putting your things... Rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast is served in a nearby café and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
