I spent 3 nights at the CK B&B, which I found by chance after trying to find a place to stay during what seems to be a pretty busy season. I couldn't be happier: from now on, if I need a place to stay in Rome I will contact the CK first. - Location: 10-15min walk from the Termini station....

I'm sorry to say this but honestly this is probably the worse hotel I've been to. Firtsly, the owner switched me to CK when I booked for Aenea's. Instead of being in Termini, I'm in a location where there is nothing around. Nevermind about that. Even Google Map gave a wrong address for this BB. So, referring to the address...

I stayed at the CK bed and breakfast for two nights and found the place to be fine. We had originally booked Aenea's b&b but as there was a problem with the bathroom upon arrival we were moved into CK's instead. Location was good for arriving and departing to Rome as it is fairly close to the Termini train station...

My husband and I spent 6 nights here in the Moroccan Room. We found the staff helpful and the room was fine for our needs. I agree with some of the comments here, but really think it depends on what you are looking for in accommodation. We wanted a place from where you could walk to the major sites, close...

overall not pleased with our stay. i agree with the prior reviews. the b&b was in a dodgey area that you wouldn't want to walk around in at night. the b&b is essentially a few rooms in a appartment building. there is no reception.. just a desk and a hallway with 3 or 4 rooms. overall we did not feel...

I booked a room at the CK for my honeymoon. I checked it out on their website and it looked great; funky rooms and right near the Colosseum. It was a bit pricey but hey it was our honeymoon! The area the 'hotel' is in is dodgey. Right near the station and not the sort of place you would want...

I am not one to complain but we felt ripped off in this b&b when we could have paid same amount for a 4* hotel somewhere else. Stayed in this hotel on Friday night after booking at last minute. Despite booking last minute, the hotel cost us 80euro for the night - far too expensive! We arrived earlier in Rome...

If you are looking for a formal hotel, where service is immediate and catering available at any moment, than this is not the bed and breakfast for you. But if you are looking for a cozy flat, then this is the place to go. Location is excellent, because you can choose to walk to the neighboring Colosseum area (15-20minutes), or...

We returned to Rome for a nights stay before flying home and booked CK as it was close to the station and metro stops. We thought this would be an ideal place to stay before our trip back after exploring Italy. As an overnight stay CK is very good. The rooms can not be faulted as they look excellent and...

This was a great b&b. Lovely clean rooms with individual decor, comfortable and right next to Vittorio Emanuele metro. Good value for money. The breakfast was fine and communication prior to arrival was excellent. Would recommend!!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
