This quirky (if not outright cheesy in terms of fake Roman motifs / decorations) hotel is centrally located in the touristy part of Rome right next to Teatro Argentina. It's easy enough to get there from the termini station via bus 40 or 64, which is €1.5 for the 1 way fare (€7 for 24 hr pass but you need...

The hotel is great! The owner Michele, was very gracious and he assisted with maps and itineraries. He gave us many suggestions and it helped us navigate our first trip to Rome. The hotel is in the middle of all the attractions and we walked everywhere. We didn't use any public transportation or taxis. The food in the room was...

A talking point for months to come....admittedly we like quirky and the decor (baroque cherubs and statuary abound in every square cm) lived up to our expectation. The bed is comfortable , clean and the shower is a jacuzzi type. Better still are the foot spa, the foot massager and the body massage device all most welcome after a walk...

My partner and I stayed for two nights and loved it. Great quirky atmosphere, lovely helpful staff, and a lot of fun. We had to change room on the second day as the hotel was full and needed us to shift but the staff did everything for us and it wasn't a problem - we got to see more of...

I frequently travel around the world and I am unfortunately used to big impersonal hotels. Differently, I found the Hotel Barrett in Rome a super cosy Hotel with very friendly staff where I really felt at home. The Hotel position is also ideal if you have meetings in town or if you want to visit around. Rooms and bathrooms are...

Best to review photos before booking . There is no elevator or external signage . Guests must obtain three levels of access to reach hotel area. Guests must be "buzzed out" to leave premises. Memorable experience.

We booked this hotel as friends recommended it, having stayed here themselves . We were not disappointed, the location is central to everything, being within walking distance of absolutely everything we wanted to see. Surrounded by Piazzas, churches and places of beauty and historical interest. And restaurants, there must be 50 within a 10 minute walk. Staff at the hotel...

Rome is jam packed full of interesting finds around every corner and Hotel Barrett is just the same. This hotel will be different to anything you have ever experienced. The foyer, hallways and the room and filled with interesting paintings, sculptures, fountains, tables - the list goes on - it's quirky but fun. The room, as previously mentioned, is tightly...

Stayed at the hotel with a friend for her birthday the week before Christmas for 5 nights. First of all, the hotel is centrally located, a 5 minutes walk to the Pantheon and within walking distance of the Colosseum and Forum. Your windows not only overlook ancient ruins where Caesar disregarded the Ides of March, but also a major bus...

Anyone visiting Rome should visit this hotel. Its small, and you get personalized attention. The owner is wonderful, and goes put of his way to make sure you have a great time and have great recommendations for your stay. once my husband and i checked in, the owner sat us down and gave us some highlights of the area we...
