We spent 3 nights here and just loved our stay. We did not arrive till 1am and the night attendant was lovely. Our beds were comfortable, our room spacious and clean, bathroom clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate. Highly recommend this property. Just loved our beers and pizza on the balcony!

We were there 4 nights with 2 kids. Very nice and clean hotel. Room had double bed and 2 single beds. Hotel top floor terrace is great and the view is excellent. Location is good. We walked to every sight from there... Vatican, Colosseum, zoo... Will go there again.

I have stayed in this hotel for one night only, but thought it was a perfect choice for us. We arrived Saturday noon, and were able to park the car on the street near (4 euros for the whole day). The hotel is located only about 15 minuted walk from Vatican City and its perfect if you anyone would like...

Great for my 7 yr old son. Quiet tree lined street minutes from metro line. Very close to villa Borghese park and Piazza Popolo--great for children. We rented bikes every day at park. Staff at hotel very helpful and kind. Everyone spoke English. Room perfect for a clean, nice place to lay your head at night. Basic, but all you...

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. It was a great choice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and service was first class. But the best part was the location. We walked everywhere, and we also enjoyed the neighborhood, beautiful place. The people working were very kind and very helpful. It was a great experience...

Very clean, relaxed setting; excellent staff overall (friendly and efficient); outstanding buffet breakfast Two female (brunette) clerks were not friendly; suspect some American resentment. Note: Blond host was excellent. Hotel is frequented by many German tourists.

We have used this hotel twice for groups, and stayed there once prior. Casa Valdese is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. It has easy access to the sites, restaurants, stores and the subway. It is not fancy, but it is clean, and breakfast is included. They will also provide dinner for a group if they know ahead of time. The...

We booked our stay here during Christmas 2011 based on Rick Steves' recommendation in his Rome guidebook. It's just the sweetest little hotel! Each morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with fresh, homemade pastries and hard boiled eggs and the best coffee ever!!! Our room was maybe a bit insitutional but very large and the bathroom was huge! The staff...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
