The reception staffs were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast were good and with various choices. Room was clean, warm. The only problem is "cups", you could not find a glass or cup for drinking purpose. All were plastic ones in the restroom.

The hotel was a little hard to find because it doesn't have a large sign. The hotel itself was really nice, the rooms were small but clean and the bathroom was really modern. The front desk staff were great. The location was really what attracted us to this hotel. It is right by the train station/subway/bus depot. The only really...

The hotel is located within a couple of blocks if you are arriving at Roma Termini, which includes the Terravission transfer from Ciampino Airport. Rooms are small, but modern, clean and functional with all the basics you would need for a short break. The staff are extremely welcoming and have excellent English if your Italian is not up to scratch....

We were travelling around Italy with 3 other couples, spending time in Rome, Venice, Tuscany and the Cinque Terre. We chose this hotel for our last, stopover, night in Rome, having arrived in Rome by train from Venice in the afternoon on our return journey, and due to leave Rome airport the next morning. Thus, it was really only a...

If you're traveling to Rome by train it's super convenient to stay near the Termini station. not the prettiest area, but who wants to haul baggage around the city? The area is full of hotels but in all my many trips this is the nicest I've found. Rooms are new and clean. the shower worked. staff was incredibly nice -...

I've travelled quite a bit and stayed in many hotels but YES hotel is a little gem. This 'boutique hotel is a 5min walk from Termini (train station) its in a very central location but tranquil for a good night's sleep. Reasonably priced and everything about the hotel was fabulous - helpful, pleasant staff, clean, comfortable and modern room (with...

We stayed at the Yes Hotel in Rome for 2 nights in September and were extremely pleased. The Yes Hotel is very modern, up-to-date and very hi-tech. It was exceptionally clean and a gem in the heart of the Rome Termini Station area. A very short walk to the station. Everything was close by and we did not require the...

Great location, right by the Rome Train Station, but tucked away in a quiet street. Very helpful staff, very modern, tidy room, newly renovated with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was good too - one of the best I've had at a 3* hotel. Only complaint (albeit very minor), was that the coffee at breakfast was awful, but everything else was...

The hotel feels newly renovated and it spotlessly clean. Rooms are comfortable, bathroom is fairly spacious. Wifi was reasonably priced. About 100m from Termini Station. We only stayed one night before going to Sorrento. Stayed in another hotel when we returned to Rome for another 3 nights. The other hotel was near the historic centre, cost more but was horrible...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
