We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The location is excellent, next to Termini station, so it's very comfortable for the transportations( to airports, metro and bus). The room, a triple one, was clean and comfortable. The only disadvantage, was the absence of shower cabin. So, the water floows on the floor of the bathroom. But, I don't complain...

Central location close to Rome Termini, train and bus stations. Room was good for the price. Staff was kind of rude when I received a call from the states (I was told by my husband he was given an attitude). Other than that it was comfortable for a day and a half (one night) until my train to Florence schedule...

Good location to reach airport, to rent a car, to explore Rome by foot. Clean rooms and bathroom although very small in size. Was quite weird to keep opened windows as were not possible to reduce the heat. And, yes, that is very noisy if your windows goes to the street. I liked comfortable bed, English speaking staff. In overall...

The Hotel is in an Ideal location for the metro etc. and 2 minutes away from Termini station. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The road is very noisy if you leave the window open. The windows are good insulators of the noise if they are closed.

We stayed at the Hotel Marechiaro for four days in the high heat of July. The accommodation was clean and well kept, the staff were friendly and spoke good English and the location was so ideal for tourists! You literally roll out of bed and into the Termini station where there's access to tour buses, the Metro, the overground train...

It is very close to Termini Station (less than 3 minutes walking). If you are traveling to Ciampino Airport this will be very convenient (buses to Ciampino departs from Termini Station). No need to pay more to stay close to the Colosseum or Vatican City, the Metro will take you there or you can walk, you will have something to...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
