Booked The Prestige Guest House for it's location which is perfect. 2mins from The Spanish Steps (and a Metro stop) and less than 10mins from Trevi Fountain. 15mins, no more, to Pantheon. We walked everywhere from here. Room was clean and well appointed.
Rome was our first stop, and we stayed at the Prestige Guest House for 4 nights/5 days and it was great! We felt very comfortable and happy that we were starting our trip out right. I was afraid that I'd be thrown off about the...More

Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
