It is what it is....a cheap guest house 10 minutes walk from the Central Train Station in Rome and within walking distance of most of the sights. It has friendly staff and a place to lay your head after busy day sightseeing. But comfort is isn't, the pillows were very lumpy and the fan just generated hot air. The light...

I would recommend this hotel for the reasonable price. We have just returned from a 3 night stay in the hotel. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable and in a good location. The staff were friendly and on time to meet us. Do take note of the other comments though and go prepared. The hotel door is large...

This B&B is a great location to stay in Rome, especially if your stay is 5 to 10 days because of the location you have easy access to all the sights and monuments. The termini is only a five to seven minute walk away where you can catch a train, or the metro, or a bus which will take you...

This is a nice B&B in a convenient location. It’s by no means glamorous, but considering the prices in Rome it’s a pretty good deal. It’s a no frills B&B however the location is good and staff super-friendly. I didn’t like the 20 EUR “late” check-in charge payable in cash only though; and we were checking it at 8pm or...

I gave this hotel and excellent based on cleanliness, location, friendly staff, and price. I felt safe and comfortable. I slept well and it was a worry free stay. The B & B doesn't mean they serve breakfast though -- I think it means Bed & Bathroom -- because you get your very own en-suite, no going down the hall...

Maggiore Guest House is the perfect place to stay if you are a tourist with friends or family. The location is great, VERY close to Termini Station, in a safe area, also in the famous St Maria Maggiore Piazza. The area is full of souvenir shops, a shop with very nice stuff for women, supermarket, pubs, restaurants, "gelateria" this is...

I travelled to Rome in March 2012 and I had a really nice experience at B&B Maggiore. The location is central only 5-7 minutes walk from Termini Station where the metro, train and bus lines are. Also there are the bus lines to the airports of Rome. It is somehow difficult to find the hotel because it is on a...

The Maggiore is conveniently located about 5 minutes to the main train station. Walking distance to the Colisseum and other sites. As per the other reviews, the traditional service was not typical. The linens and towels are not changed daily and there is an additional charge of 5 euros to change them prior to 4 days. The area I felt...

Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. “Room #6 is with the window to courtyard. Less noise! Bring ear plugs to sleep better because windows and doors are not sound proof. Don't forget to write an email about late arrival to be accepted as service desk works until 19:00. Service desk guy said that you do not need to pay late arrival fee if arrived before 21:00.”
