I had the gift of staying twice this month at Fifteen Keys. From the pre visit email to my final departure, I was treated like a queen. The staff is welcoming, sincere and very personable. Every recommendation for an experience or restaurant was top notch whether a simple meal or a high end experience. I stayed in rooms with terraces and enjoyed the simple pleasure of relaxing in the evening. Breakfast was a wonderful variety of foods including multiple fresh fruits and juices. I highly recommend Fifteen keys. Monti is a great neighborhood as well.
Outstanding customer service from the small team running this 15 room hotel that really makes this a ‘must-return’ hotel. Very comfortable stay in a clean room , huge bed, wonderful shower , umbrellas , coffee machine and more!. Good choice offered at breakfast with daily freshly made juices , home made cakes and bread. The team here were exceptionally helpful with excellent local restaurant recommendations, organizing Covid PCR tests at a local clinic for our onward flights, printing passenger locator forms etc. Finally, the location for us was perfect - Monti has a local neighborhood feel, and less touristy than the more central districts but within easy walk of the wonders of Rome.
What a lovely hotel! Super staff who could not do enough for you. Excellent breakfast and even a happy hour in the bar 6 to 7 pm! The location is good, it is possible to walk into the centre of Rome or a taxi fare is not very much. The hotel is in a vibrant neighbourhood with a number of good trattoria within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.
The Fifteen Keys has all of the elements that make a hotel stay perfect for me. The staff, every member of the staff, was warm and welcoming during our stay. The room was a nice size for Europe, very comfortable bedding and mattress, quiet, and the bathroom was well equipped. The style is more hip modern than old world luxe. I like either and I knew what I was getting based upon the photos. We stayed only one night. Upon our return from dinner, we asked if the bar was open and the guy behind the desk, I’m sorry that I don’t remember names, became our bartender and poured us a drink. Another couple arrived and he made them a complicated cocktail. This was at around 10:00 at night. Great service. The bar/breakfast room is beautiful and intimate as is the patio. We were not able to enjoy the patio or breakfast the next morning as we had an early flight, but the hotel prepared a few breakfast treats for us in to go bags. I loved the Monti neighborhood. It’s out of the way of the throngs of tourists that are in the Centro Storico and now Trastevere. There are many very good restaurants, it’s a short walk to the Coliseum, where we listened to a street musician play his violin as the sun was setting, magical! If you want a hotel with a lot of action, or a location amidst the major tourist areas, this hotel is not for you. No question goes unanswered, even before arrival via email. We will be back next year.…
We stayed in a deluxe blue room. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a great bathroom. Though in a lively area, the room was very quiet. The included breakfast was excellent. The staff was was gracious and helpful. The location is great. This hotel is a calm oasis in what can be a stressful city. We loved the enclosed garden area.
