Booked hotel mainly for its swimming pool, but upon arrival the receptionist sais it is not a pool for swimming! The wi-fi not working properly, neither in the rooms, nor at the reception area. Rooms were reasonably clean, but could be alot better, specially the carpet. In the bathroom, the towel-rail looks terrible, like it hasn’t been cleaned for months....

This is a 5 star property with 2 star hotel, at most. I live in hotels and this is NOT a four star. The rooms and bathrooms are very dated and the beds are very well used, to say the least. The restaurant had only two beers in the entire bar, and is only open 'some nights' forcing us to...

I booked this hotel for 2 nights. We visited Rome last year and this year were on our way down to the Amalfi Coast. The hotel was just what I wanted, or so I thought. We arrived about 8ish in the evening. The restaurant was not open which meant we had to get back in the car and find somewhere...

I stayed here with a tour group and was very impressed with the gorgeous property. The views are stunning! My room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. It even had a towel warmer which I loved! My only complaints were: 1. The daily long walk up and down the steep. winding, cobblestone path to our bus which...

Amazing views, beautiful grounds, polite staff-absolutely wonderful. I stayed with a large (rather obnoxious) group as part of a conference for work, and the staff was patient and gracious. It is true that not every facet of the room is super fancy and updated, but I would prefer character, beauty, and charm any day.

Our tour guide informed us that we were staying outside of Rome (45 minutes) in a four-star hotel with an incredibly view of the city. As we climbed the winding road up toward the hotel and took a first glance at our home away from home, I was so excited. The view was beautiful. This hotel looked beautiful. And at...

The view from our third-floor balcony was stunning-- a breathtaking view of Rome! There was a towel warmer, and I was pleasantly surprised to have great water pressure with which to wash my hair. The rooms were quite big. The breakfast was nothing special, but there was plenty of food and coffee. There was wi-fi available, but we could not...

I recently spent three nights in the Gran Hotel Helio Cabala. The hotel can best be described as a facade, very nice on the outside and on the first view but when you dig a little deeper it is not as exciting as the first look. We spent the first night in the rooms below the lobby. The room contained...
