Stayed 16th - 20th June. This hotel is an annex of the Hotel Abruzzi overlooking the Pantheon but do not let that put you off. rooms are small (but that is to be expected in an ancient capital) with all amenities including air conditioning. Annex is next door to the hotel with cobbled streets leading to shops, restaurants and within... More

The first impression of the room is not the Wow efect. Don´t wait to much luxury. Rooms are bit small, equiped basicaly, small bathroom, nothing special. Modern style in old building. But, you have there everything you need (except glasses for your drinks, which are only plastic and slippers which would make us feel comfotable after all day walking in... More

Stayed here 12th- 15th of April. We arrived by taxi and dropped by the side of the pantheon. Check in is at the hotel abruzzi which is undergoing some work to the outside so the front is boarded up- you may have trouble to find but we asked at a cafe and they directed us. It's basically facing the pantheon(... More

Great location near the pantheon, Vatican, and trevi fountain. Walked to piazza navona for dinner and drinks. VERRRRY friendly staff- better then anywhere else on our stay. Make sure u go to hotel abruzzio to check in not the address for pantheon 3e because you need a key for this. The bed was big. Room was clean, free coffee, clean... More

Many people don't know, but it is part of the Abruzzi hotel right on front of the Pantheon in Piazza Rotonda. The most modern hotel room I stayed in the whole 2 weeks in Italy... everything rennovated, very clean, great service. Location is amazing, just 5-10 minute walk to Trevi Fontain, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and within 30 walk of... More

Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff, perfect for a break in the great city of Roma. Literally a stone's throw from the Pantheon, which itself is very impressive, and central to the Colluseum and Vatican, Trastevere and Trevi fountain. Clean, comfortable and good value room, just right for exploring the city. Good shower, air con and easy to find... More

This was a nice hotel in a great location at a reasonable price. Our room was small but adequate and the bathroom was very large, especially for Italy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, suggesting some wonderful restaurants usually frequented mostly by locals. The hotel was located within steps of the Pantheon, a block or so from the Piazza... More

Situated at the Pantheon, the location for experiencing the city was perfect. The check-in was OK (took some time as they have to register all their visitors I guess), but not more than OK, don't think there was a smile close to the night-guards mouth ever... The breakfast was served right on the piazza in front of the pantheon, and... More

This room was so well located. The Pantheon is literally a few steps away. It is run by The Abruzzi Hotel but is in a separate building. This means you have a key to the street door as well as your room key and can come and go without passing the reception each time. The street door leads you to... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
