I keep a very good memory of this place. The rooms were spacious and it was so cool to be sleeping in a former convent. I definitely recommend this place to any woman travelling alone! It’s not hopping but it’s very safe.
I stayed in a three person room and it was nice and very clean. The room had a window out to the courtyard. I came back very late at night and there is always someone there to open the door for you! The reception ladies...More

This is a really nice hostel. Like any hostel, it has small inconveniences to privacy etc, but I felt extremely safe and comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and the staff was beyond lovely. I loved having an active cultural center downstairs, and a very convenient...More

I stayed in October 2016 in a private room and had a fabulous time. There was a really lovely atmosphere with the other female guests; it was great being able to go back to the kitchen at the end of each day to hear what...More
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.

Hi,sorry for the late response. I had to go to the central train station and then get a bus to orsa maggiore. I advise you downloading the offline map beforehand because rome doesn't havr a good free wifi network and it will be important to know the stops. From the bus stop it is about 10 min walk to the hostel. It's not a hard walk but it could take some time with luggage since the streets are made of rocks and it difficults pulling them. Other than that the hostel is near many bus stops, which makes getting around pretty easy.
