From questions at pre booking to ordering a taxi for our departure this hotel was fantastic. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, the hotel was very clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. We were able to walk to many of Rome's main attractions from the hotel and the restaurant the hotel recommended for dinner was wonderful. For a...

I had a 6 night stay at Basilio 55 and really can't say enough about how well we were treated. To say it was some of the best customer service I have received is an understatement. Everyone one from owner, to manager to breakfast staff were extremely kind and helpful. The rooms were nicely furnished, and beds were comfortable. The...

Not one to write reviews myself but following our experience at this place I felt an obligation to share my feedback from last week. I can genuinely say that we were spoilt everyday of the week we were in Rome. Apart from the place being kept spotlessly clean on a day to day basis, it is also located just a...

This hotel is a hidden gem! Tucked away in a fantastic location, a few minutes walk from so many of the beautiful sights in Rome. It is the service however, that makes this hotel brilliant. From the moment that we arrived, I can honestly think of nothing more the staff could have done to make our stay as enjoyable as...

We ended up staying at this little hotel, because the hotel we had booked for three nights, situated next door had lost its power when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to be taken up to a clean, fresh and modern room, with all the amenities you could possibly need. Breakfast was also very good and fresh. I never write...

I'm from Rome, but for over 25yrs I lived overseas. I have been suggested this newly opened hotel by a colleague that frequently travels to Rome. I would like to thank both Francesco and Luca for the incredible experience they gave me: the hotel is situated in the heart of Rome, walking distance from the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain...

We stayed here in June 2014 and November 2015. The location is excellent for sights, restaurants, shopping, etc. The quality of the hotel and location offer great value. Staff is very helpful offering great restaurant recommendations, giving guidance on how to get around, and suggesting walking routes based on scenic areas or the fastest way to get where you want...

Stayed here end of November 2015 -group of 3 friends. This was my second time at Daphne Inn Veneto. Everything was great. Very clean, quiet street, great location. The breakfast is Italian style (you won't find, for example, fresh vegetables). Just around the corner is Piazza Barberini, a very short walk to Fontana di Trevi or to the Spanish steps....

Stayed here in April 2014. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Stayed in a twin room with my nan. Lovely and clean, beds were comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast, a working (yet old/authentic) lift which was helpful for my nan, good airport transfer, good location to buses, restaurants and main sights. If I stayed again I would certainly get the...

The location was convenient to major sites and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and booked dinners at several great local restaurants. Rooms were nice, clean. The breakfast was very good too with some special additions each day to the basics and delicious cappuccino! I highly recommend it!

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
