Stayed 3 nights here in April. Hotel is ideally located in the historic centre. Our room was newly refurbished in traditional style, and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and served until a civilised 11 am. The staff were very charming and helpful, one taking the trouble to remind me to exhibit a permit issued by the hotel in my...

Nice hotel and good breakfast, but a little noisy as so central. Pity about hotel prices being so high in Bologna, we actually booked Airbnb but had to leave the flat due to noise and dust from building site next door making it impossible. Put us right off Airbnb in future.

A very comfortable stay. The location is great - right by the Piazza Maggiore. The only drawback is that it is can be a bit noisy although presumably in the summer when the a/c is on and you can keep the windows closed it isn't a problem. Pleasant staff. Breakfast is fine, although they ran out of fruit in one...

Stayed here for three nights in Feb 2017. I booked via the BA website (flight and hotel bundle) as I'd used that service before. Small, comfortable room on the top floor. Not too much of a view, but then we only used the hotel as a base for sight-seeing. The hotel could not be more centrally placed. Out of the...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast with very cheerful, accommodating waiter serving our coffee. Could not be a better location in Bologna. Our suite was light and bright with large windows and looked right onto the medieval Communale and Piazza Maggiore.

Very happy with our room which was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Some reviewers have referred to the noise from outside but didn't bother us as it is exactly what you'd expect from a hotel so close to the Piazza Maggiore! Stunning location as you are literally 30 seconds from the square. Breakfast was lovely too with lots of choice...

A very cute and comfortable hotel. Perfectly situated in the heart of town and close to all attractions. It looks a little dated and the fittings certainly are a little old, but I think it added to the charm. The breakfast in the morning was a sizeable offering and filled us completely before our day of exploration. Friendly staff made...

Greeted by happy, helpful staff and had been given a room with a small balcony, which was lovely. The hotel is perfectly positioned being central to this historic city. The hotel was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Chocolates and a bottle of bubbly was left for us on our first night! The breakfast was the best I have...
