This very nice hotel is hidden in a side street only 50 paces from the Via dell'Independenza which is one of the main shopping streets of the city and leads directly to many important tourist attractions. The rooms are comfortable and large. There is a safe and mini fridge in the room. We feared there might be traffic noise from...

We stayed 3 nights here in March having taken pot luck from Booking.com, and we definitely chose the right hotel. The hotel is very central to the attractions (10 mins walk to the main piazza & towers) and main shopping area is just steps away, and of course there are many small pizzeria's and restaurants within easy walking distance. The...

Hotel Cavour, Central Bologna, we had 6 night from 8 till 13 March 2017 This was probably the hardest review I have done, it was so mixed and I genuinely loved the place. Position, brilliant just 5 to 6 minutes’ walk from Piazza Majjiore and other attractions, When you come out of airport the taxi was Euro 18, right to...

The Hotel Cavour is centrally located just off one of the main streets of Bologna (via l'indipendenza) and a very short walk to the main square. The lift was small (no space for a wheel chair) and just fit two adults plus luggage. Our room was on the second floor and although this overlooked the street, it was well sound...

Bologna may not be on the main tourist routes in Italy, but it is certainly worth the visit. Beautiful, clean, traditional and surprising. Hotel Cavour is in a great location, very central yet easy to reach by bus or car from the main station. Good quality service and clean room, though it not particularly charming - not a typical or...

Easy to get too from the airport, took a taxi which cost less than 20 € Great location for site seeing, perfect. Friendly reception and very helpful. Gave us lots of recommendations for dining out and places to visit. They even gave us maps and leaflets to help. Our room was warm, clean and tastefully decorated. We would definitely return.

A very comfortable hotel in a quiet location in the centre of Bologna. Friendly and helpful staff ensure an enjoyable stay. Breakfast included in the price is generous and includes a choice of cereals, juice, pastries, cold meats and cheese. Very good value for money.

We got a room in the backside of the hotel, but the noises from the street were loud and also the noises from pipes etc. We slept very poorly because of these. The backside of the hotel looked alao very outed compared to the frontside. The safe, television or wifi did not work. This made our hotel stay very unpleasant....

Except the breakfast which is nothing spectacular (but for a decent price), I was really charmed by this hotel. My room at 3rd floor, below the roof, felt really like a nest. I wish I could have been there with my wife, but I was there for business. And the city of Bologna is splendid on top of that!

Central but relatively quiet, very large clean (though a touch shabby) rooms, comfortable beds, decent breakfast, helpful, friendly staff. It was cold outside when we were there but the hotel remained warm. There is a nice outside courtyard for summertime. Also Franco Rossi restaurant is directly opposite. A good 3 star.
