In October we spent two days in this beautiful hotel close to Bologna downtown. The hotel is situated ~15 min by walk from the city center. Our room was nice and clean (maybe a bit small). From our room, located at the 5th floor, we had an amazing view of the city and suburbs. The breakfast buffet is well presented...

Just come back today. We had two nights at Aemilia and couldn't fault it. The staff were excellent and always had a smile on their faces. Rooms were lovely; shower was fantastic, bathroom beautiful. Rooftop terrace was good on a sunny day. About 15-20minute walk to piazza maggiore, far enough away to get peace and quiet!! Taxi from train station...

We enjoyed our stay at the Aemilia Hotel. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. It is a pleasant stroll to the city centre, about 15 mins. This Hotel has everything that you could ask for in a short stay in Bologna.

This is a lovely hotel at a bargain rate. The rooms are spacious and pleasant and the breakfast buffet is excellent. We were sorry the weather didn't allow us to use the roof garden, for it seemed like a lovely spot to have a drink and enjoy the Bologna skyline. If you are not a walker, it is a bit...

Stayed at this hotel one night due to it's high user ratings and was not disappointed. The hotel and room was very clean, large and comfortable with a very friendly and helpful staff. The included buffet was as good as any other I've had in Italy. It is within walking distance to most tourist attractions. Just be careful while walking...

- Very nice chambers with a fantastic large bed. - Very friendly staff - Breakfast was, for italian standards, very well taken care off. - 15 min walk from the historical center of Bologna and if you are on a businesstrip: just 5 min (with taxi) from the Ferria. - Very good quality/price level.

Hotel was best quality in our two week trip in Italy. The rooms were clean, large, modern. Air conditioned rooms made it pleasant. The staff was very helpful and the location was within a 10-20 minute walk of the historic district. We enjoyed being away from the crowds of the historic district and found it a good place to relax...

I can only concur with the majority of other reviewers. Our room was large, impeccably clean and newly furnished in a contemporary style. The staff all spoke good English and were really helpful. The self service breakfast was fantastic, offering a huge choice of both hot and cold items. The only drawback (hence my 4 star, rather than 5 star,...

The hotel is very nice, rooms are comfortable, while the employees are very attentive to your needs and questions. The only one point - and we knew it in advance- is that the hotel is not located within the old town but outside. Apart from this it is almost perfect.
