We arrived from the train station and were immediately enchanted with the location of this lovely hotel. It is in the heart of the historic district and is abuzz with activity, delicious bakeries, a florist and great shopping. The staff was accommodating, helpful and kind. We had a fantastic room on the second floor overlooking the small street below. There... More

Historical building a few steps from Piazza Maggorie and everything else. Bed and breakfast. Great value for money. Interior and fitments are in keeping with its historic nature. Very helpful and friendly staff. Right outside are all the every day shops you need. Everything easily walkable.

This place is full of charm and perfectly located in the heart of the old city while still managing to offer a sense of quiet seclusion from the bustle outside. Sylvie was patient, kind, informative, and helpful. The continental breakfast offered a wide array of delicious options that allowed for dietary restrictions.

Located in the center of town made walking to sites easy. Room was a bit small, but adequate. The shower in our room was very small-even for me, and I am a petite person. Not sure if all showers are this tiny-you may want to inquire when you book. The only other negative was the noise in the street below.... More

If you want a comfortable, inexpensive and well-run place in the heart of old Bologna, this is a great place. The rooms are clean and adequate; the wifi works, the breakfast is quite nice. And, you are in the heart of the city. If you drive, you will need to park quite a ways away, and you will want to... More

This was the perfect place to stay and explore Bologna (especially for a quick stop). We only had one day to see the city and it really is right at the center of everything! The room was basic but very comfortable and clean. We had to book a taxi very early in the morning for the airport and the staff... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. It's in a great location, reasonably priced and comfortable accommodation. There is no elevator from the ground floor to first floor which is a pain.. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast was very poor. I would recommend not to include breakfast in your stay and go to one... More

Uncomfortable bed, poor mattress Air conditioning didn't work at all I had a very poor nights sleep. Rather run-down appearance , shabby, rather than shabby chic. Breakfast was meagre and miserable. It seemed strange that in a city famous for food and hospitality and on a street filled with amazing produce, we were offered a only few slices of mortadella... More

We stayed at the Albergo delle Drapperie for 4 nights in August. We had initially booked for 3 nights, but subsequently decided to extend our stay a few weeks later, which was dealt with quickly and with no problem at all via email. We got a taxi from the airport, which cost €17, only €5 more than the bus, which... More
