HOTEL –GENERAL This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel, the main reason being is that it is close to Parma without being in the centre (the choices in the centre are limited and very small.) .This Hotel is near to airport and station and if you hire a car you are near the motorway to...

Quite old, small hotel but stil a pleasant stay to me. Staffs are ok. Breakfast is quite a choice for the price we pay. Centreville is a walking distance but doable. You can take the bus right in front forum the hotel though. Walk at your own pace.

Easy to get to from the motorway and easy to get back on to carry on with our journey - that's the reason why we'd chosen this hotel in the first place. The junior suite was fairly large but strangely arranged, at the end of a corridor, so a lot of the U-shaped room was corridor-shaped. Large bathroom but noisy...

My wife and I together with friends of ours spent one night here on the way to Tuscany for our Wine Trip. We picked the hotel because it is just a couple of minutes of the highway and we literally just needed a place to stay overnight to cut our 8 hours car ride in two. The service was very...

Stayed 1 night on our way to Tuscany. Hotel is near the highway which was a huge plus for us. Everything is very clean and the rooms are a decent size. The shower was absolutely tiny and our room was above the entrance to the hotel where the lounge chairs are outside which meant noise until 11.30 at night. Not...

The buffet breakfast was well orgnised with wide variety of options for veg and non veg. The Restaurant had good range of...

Booked into this hotel by a company I work with in Parma. Really nice hotel and unlike many Italian hotels they were very friendly. Breakfast good , rooms very comfortable and great wifi. They even found a meeting room for us to work in which was very useful. Close to the town centre but quiet , I guess it would...

Though one needs a car to get from the hotel to and from the city centre, this is my favourite lodging in Parma for its design, its parking space (free) and overall welcome of guests. The hotel offers to the business traveller basic services relative to its stars. No thrills nor bad surprises (for me, at least). Rooms are standard...

this is the worst hotel I stayed in Italy, despite it could be nice in the 1960s it is badly renovated but above all it is badly managed, dirty with bad mannered staff, better avoid it. I went for breakfast 9.45 and was told we are closing, I asked a table for 5 and was shown one for 4 and...

I chose this hotel for both price and location. Both were OK, however, due to the local bus routes, it required a short stroll to get to the main bus stops. OK in the daylight, not so good in the dark! Staff helpful, I had no problems.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The MOH Villa Ducale hotel in Parma is the spectacular result of a harmonious coalescence of contrasting architectural styles.First constructed as the official residence for one of Parma's noble families, it has since been transformed into a luxurious hotel, which in two "dedicated" wings, offers either the characteristic charm of the historic building or the serene environment created by innovative modern design.Just one km from the 'Parma Centro' motorway exit and just a few minutes from the historic city centre, the hotel boasts an ideal strategic location which yet again reflects its distinctive duality of history and modernity.Tourists can spend a captivating holiday discovering the many artistic, gastronomic and musical treasures that Parma has to offer; a city that still pays homage in many artistic forms to the Maestro of Italian opera, Giuseppe Verdi. ... more   less
