Do NOT choose this place!!! We booked this hotel for three nights and it was the worst experience we have ever made!!! We travel a lot and this was a very negative experience!!! The housestaff trys to cheat on their guests whenever possible. They try to charge you extra money, and if you don't pay they try to threaten you...

Albergo Centro is a no-frills but comfortableand an expensive hotel in Via Roma, one block from are not very grand GrandCanal and within 10 to 15 minutes walk of the main tourist sites. Excellent restaurants are within two or three blocks including in particular La Bufala. Parking is in nearby streets in spaces marked with the blue line and is...

This hotel is good for what you pay. It is a clean, pleasant hotel quite near the centre of Trieste. Our room was comfortable enough with a nice bathroom and ceiling fan for the warmer evenings. The breakfast however was a little disappointing. For a start the breakfast room was very small and people had to wait in the corridor...

I would very much recommend this "hostel". It is newly done up, clean & modern & is situated on the first floor of a large old "Hapsburg/Austrian empire type" building. It is central & major sights/port are walkable. It is also walkable from bus station (where Ryanair shuttle buses arrive) We stayed here in August 2004 for 3 nights. Booked...
