The previous reviewer says it all. The Albero Nascosto is a special place with wonderful attention to detail. We loved the ambience and the warm welcome given to us by the owner, his family and staff. It made all the difference to our stay in Trieste, which in itself a 'hidden' treasure. Please read Jan Morris' book before going -...

If you've had it with bland corporate hotel rooms, book a mini-apt / room in this family-owned and operated hotel residence. Ideally and centrally located for walking to everything around town, this low-rise old stone building was redesigned and turned into a hotel using original construction i.e. a wide stone staircase covered with a thick sissal carpet, old stone wall...

The Albero nascosto is a hotel that makes one wanna extend his sejourn in Trieste day after day. My wife and I had planned to stay one week and ended up staying 10 days instead. The staff is extremely kind and carefull, and the hotel's furniture contains a countless number of splendid details that continued surprising us throughout our stay....

The hotel is located in the center of the city within walking distance to many restaurants and places of interest. It is small, has character and charm and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Guess what? There are still hotels that haven't drowned in their own artsy-fartsy-design-image. You know, the cozy, small places you feel at home in. No thrills, no over-the-top attitude, just plain feeling welcome. Experiment-free breakfast and a friendly smile. Beds As good as they get in Italy (which isn't very good), 3 english TV channels and free internet access. If...

What a surprise to find in Trieste a small boutique hotel. We still wont need a 5 star global looking hotel. My wife and the children where deligheted by the care taken by the staff, answering all our needs and questions. There was a library with books for childs and we were invited to take them away as a gift....

Albero Nascosto is a real gem in the centre of Trieste. The rooms are spatious and decorated in a manner that shows a lot of taste and creativity. Our double room had a bathroom (rather on the small side, but sparkling clean and comfortable) and a kitchenette equipped with a small stove, fridge, sink and electric kettle. Although the windows...

I am a great lover of Trieste, and I think "L'Albero Nascosto" is fully aligned with the great atmospere of Trieste. This small and familial hotel with it's friendly and helpful team is so cozy and attractive. It's always our first step when we arrive in Trieste, the second step is one of the wonderful Buffets and Restaurants nearby. My...
