Hotel Agavi is beautifully situated 20 metres from the beach. And that's about all I could say that is positive. OK ... it has rooms with doors that close. Our room had a bed. There was a bathroom that worked. That's about it. We found the hotel and booked it the day prior to our stay. We'd done the walk...

As a reviewer below already mentioned, this is an absolutely AWFUL place to stay. DO NOT STAY HERE, NO MATTER WHAT. Let me explain the numerous reasons why: 1.) Way overpriced, at ~70 euros a night for a single or ~120 for a double. You can get much more reasonable rates, even right in Monterosso. 2.) HORRENDOUS STAFF - the...

These rooms are in a great location for the beach. Very helpful manager, Hillary. Good price for room, which was clean and spacious. Our Only complaint would be that our street-facing room was pretty noisy until late at night, making it hard to sleep.

We arrived in Monterosso with no hotel booking as it was a very last minute change to our plans and after turning left out of the train station arrived in front of the Agavi where we noticed rooms available and were met by the very welcoming Hillary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Yes the rooms are basic and the...

This place is a hoax. The website may be alluring and make you think you have found a slice of paradise, but don't be fooled. Take your money elsewhere. Here's a few quick reasons why we will never return and only stayed one night and booked it out of there: - Ocean view? As you can see below, all we...

Don't expect much with the rooms, but the staff is very nice. Great location and very clean. They speak excellent English and will help you with whatever you need. Actually a great base if you don't want to spend the day in your room. A little pricey though.

This hotel has nice staff but my compliments end there. The rooms are sweltering hot even until late at night and the bathroom had a horrible stale smell upon arrival that never went away. It was incredibly loud at night listening to people coming back from drinking (till 2am) and a high price to pay (90euro/night) for such an unpleasant...

There is one very nice part about this hotel. The staff is super nice!! Unfortunately, that is where it ends. The hotel is sweltering and the breeze from the water is only for part of the day. The room wasn't cooled off by night time and that means you sweat in your sleep. The bathroom smells very bad at all...

Me and my girlfriend spent 3 nights here and were only too glad to leave again. Though located square on the beach promenade we had no view of the ocean, which to some degree factor into my rating. The room was lackluster in every way. There is no air conditioning, and since there is no air vent in the bathroom,...

This was by far the worst hotel (and most expensive) of our entire 2 week trip from Venice to Cinque Terre. (*) The room had no air condition altough this was not clearly indicated on the homepage. This was a major disadvantage, as temperature was between 38-40 degree Celsius during the day and did not fall significanlty during the night....
