Yes the villa is up a hill, which is a pain to get to with suitcases, but it is only about a 10-15min walk. We caught a cab the first day which cost us €10... Possibly a rip off but we didn't care! After that, we only ever walked up and down. The villa and our room was clean. WiFi... More

1) When you look for the place, you need to keep walking way up the hill. The street numbers are not in order. 2) Strange lighting. Need to keep your key in the system to turn the lights on. If you don't, they automatically turn off. If you lock your door at night and use your key to work the... More

It's situated a few minutes out of town had we not found a map on the floor we may have had trouble finding it. It is situated up a steep hill going via the road or you can take a short cut but there are steps so if you have luggage it may be difficult. The room is fresh, light... More

We booked last minute and were out of options. Thank god we found Villa Cristina. A 10 minute walk from the railway station and a comfortable 20 min from old town. Comfortable though slightly small rooms, free wifi (that actually works!) and the friendly Cristina.

Villa Cristina was ideally located for exploring Cinque Terre. Cristina was very accommodating and the room was quite spacious and lovely. I do recommend that people who stay here be physically able. There are lots of stairs and hills, which add to Cinque Terre's beauty. The location on Booking.com map and google maps is deceptive. It's higher up on the... More

My family and I had a wonderful time in Monterroso thanks in large part to Cristina and her lovely Villa. There's a bit of a hike up the hill to her place, but after all of the pasta and gelato it's a good thing! The rooms were clean and equipped with a mini fridge. The view from the balcony is... More

We booked two rooms and were pleasantly surprised to find that we also had a small terrace facing a garden and lemon trees and a balcony facing the sea on the opposite side. Nice setting for our first evening celebrating Cinque Terre with a bottle of Prosecco. Firm king size bed, bar fridge in each room, very clean and modern... More

In the beautiful land of Italy a lot of chaos and confusion can sometimes leave a negative mark on your vacation. This will NOT happen at Villa Cristina and I have to say I take my hat off to this young lady who has set a benchmark for B&Bs. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds extremely comfortable. The a/c... More

Villa Cristina is a small hotel with three rooms like rented rooms. The lady tha has the hotel is really friendly and the special was the breakfast that she was making for us everyday in a balcony that had very nice sea view. I would say not only for this but grnerally the rooms are quite expensive and maybe they... More
